Eurobodalla Slow Food Celebration
Bigger, Better, Tastier
20/21 November 2010
Jackie French is effusive, effervescent, energetic and very passionate about food, gardens, and self sufficiency.
As Eurobodalla Slow Food Patron, this popular author and very knowledgeable ënature foodieí will launch the 2010 Celebration at Moruya on the south coast of New South Wales.
Promising the event will be bigger, better, and much tastier, the organisers suggest that ëIf you are interested in growing food, cooking food, and talking to regional food producers, this weekend will really satisfy your culinary sensesí.
This seasonal celebration will demonstrate the value of regional food production, and festivities have been designed not just for food lovers, but for the whole community to enjoy.
On Saturday, Riverside Park will be buzzy with ëliveí musical entertainment, on-river festivities, riverside dining, kids activities, and an opportunity to get into fresh food preparation with some handy demonstrations by food professionals.
Sunday, Sustainable Agriculture and Gardening Eurobodalla (SAGE) field day.
Good food begins at ground level. This is a wonderful opportunity for back-yarders and semi-commercial growers to learn organic food growing techniques.
